Well hello there friends! It’s been quite a busy spring for us, even though we haven’t been playing out as much. We sure miss you though, and we really hope you’ll come and see us on April 20th – we’re playing the Friday Night Live series at the London Brewing Co-op in London’s flourishing Old East brewing district.

The Goodah Food Truck will be on site, there’s awesome locally brewed beer on tap, and stacks of board games – come out and start your weekend right with The Heartaches! Music runs from 6-9pm and the address is 521 Burbrook Place.  We can’t wait to see you.

AND keep your calendars clear for the afternoon of Sunday, May 27th! We’re playing a very special show at The Richmond Tavern with the incredible band Over The Moon from Southern Alberta! They play a beautiful mix of swing and country music and write beautiful songs. It’s their first time in London and we hope that you’ll make them welcome. You can hear some of their music here.

Finally, this coming weekend is the Jack Richardson London Music Awards, where we’re nominated in the Folk / Roots category! Wish us luck and if you’d like, come on out to the show, this Sunday at 7pm at the London Music Hall.  This Saturday our own Amanda Lynn will be hosting a Women In Music panel  at the SoundCheck For Success music seminars in the London Music Hall.  Joining her are Nashville based music producer Karen Kosowski, and music scholars Norma Coates and Betty Ann Younker.
